Interview Experience – Qualcomm (On Campus)

This is an interview experience of Qualcomm, an American multinational semiconductor and telecommunications equipment company. This is an on campus placement experience and has been share by Mr. Anuj Kumar (BITS Pilani).


Hey guys… I appeared for Qualcomm Interview from Bits-Pilani, Pilani campus. It was 2 day process which included:

  • Day 1) Written test(all MCQs)
  • Day 2) Tech round1, Tech round 2, Hr interview

Written Test

Written test included 3 sections: Aptitude (was easy, you just need to manage time: around 30 Q to be done in 30 min), Basic Programming with C (brush up all c basics, syntax, functions etc), Technical questions (Electronics: majorly electronic devices, analog, digital, network theory, uP).

Technical Round 1

Technical round 1 went around 40-45 min.

  1. Tell me about the recent project you did and what did you do?
  2. Suppose you are a teacher and i am your student, teach me op-amps as i did a project on that.
  3. Asked me various digital design question: FF, mealy/moore, verilog, mux, etc.

Technical Round 2

Technical round 2 went around 30 min.

  1. Asked various questions from Verilog coding, the area i was interested in and was applying for.
  2. What is multi-cycle path?
  3. What is false path?
  4. Projects from resume and how did i analyze the results

HR Round

This was the final round and went around 15 min.

  1. What was your most challenging project, how did you accomplish it?
  2. What did your mentor say about you?
  3. Why Qualcomm?
  4. Any project you did in a group, what was your role in that and how far you achieved that project?
  5. Are you ready to relocate?
  6. Any Questions for me??

That was it…Finally I was in… πŸ˜€ πŸ™‚

ADVICE

  • Focus on your Resume, be clear with what you have written and be thorough with the projects you have mentioned in it.
  • Should have two things always whenever appearing for any interview: Self Confidence and a SMILE…
